I love that this has the shoulder straps or the hand carrying straps. The purple is true to color as it is online. The lining inside is so soft and protects my laptop well. The cord fits in the front pocket just fine. I haven’t put anything else inside of it. I would recommend.My wife likes it. And I can cram my laptop’s annoyingly oversized power supply in there too.I needed a slim tote that was well made and would protect my lab top as I regularly carry my computer with me to and from work.. i dont know how to confirm how effective it’s shock proof capacity is, but in all other respects I’m very satisfied. At the price of a little over $20, you can’t beat it.Liked the sizeThis laptop bag looks great, but the protection is not adequate and the placement of the shoulder straps connections is poor, making it wobbly and awkward to carry. Literally the first time I used it, it slipped off my shoulder as I was getting out of the car with it, and hit the floor. The bag did almost nothing to protect the laptop and the metal casing is now warped, making the HDMI port unusable as you can see in the picture. The foam is thin and flimsy, and there are no rigid plastic inserts to protect the laptop, as you get in other (cheaper) bags.Case is much less rigid than the photos. The straps (shoulder and hand held) do not look like they will last long from checking how they're sewn on, the padding is also thinner than I thought and certainly wouldn't protect my laptop from damage if it fell from the straps breaking. Good if you want to use it just as a case, but I certainly wouldn't carry my laptop around in it, which is a shame. I will probably return as I need a sturdy bag that I can trust to carry my laptop around in.I was a little wary as some reviews claimed that the handles were not sturdy enough. I checked mine thoroughly when it arrived and they seem OK for my purposes. To be fair, I use it more like a slip cover that holds all my computer gear (charger, external memory, mouse) and some paperwork in one place - I carry it in another bag when travelling. I would have bought one with more protection on corners if I were to use it for travelling. I Like it because it is thin and lightweight.This was a gift for my daughter who had just purchase a new laptop. She was delighted with the case. She found it to be stylish and well made.I got the brown one (discrete yet classy). Matches colour in adverts. Very useful. Fits a Lenovo Thinkpad 15.6" laptop perfectly with space for an A4 clipboard. No "Friday afternoon" build faults.Some reviewers have unfairly complained it is was not as protective as a full laptop case & without space for bulky accessories; but that is not what it is for. Likewise it is bulkier than a sleeve. It is for those with in-between requirements like me. I use it with the shoulder strap (separate small rucksack) for carrying about office space & stairs but then put it in my bike pannier (rucksack on the other side for balance) or car boot for travel home. For that it's compact size yet shoulder strap & medium padding is ideal.
