This was a Father’s Day gift from my daughter to her dad. When he opened the box and started looking at and feeling the bag, he was really shocked at the quality of it. We both were! The bag is absolutely gorgeous and far, far surpassed what I was expecting (you never know what you’re gonna get when buying sight-unseen). The leather is so supple and soft and the stitching and craftsmanship of the bag really are impressive. They have a mini-booklet of other products they offer which I thought was quite nice. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend this product. It was presented, packaged and produced beautifully.I wanted to find an everyday laptop briefcase. Looking through the various briefcases on Amazon, I noticed that many of them were made from man-made materials (nylons) or faux leather. I personally like the look and feel of a real leather which narrowed the choice down a lot. The nylon briefcases seem to say that you’re just starting out, while leather ones state, “I’ve arrived”. If you don’t think so, pull out your wallet, what’s it made of? If it’s nylon, go with a nylon briefcase, else go with a professional leather one. This briefcase stood out by having the features I like: pen holders, small pockets for iPhones and such, an area for my laptop, storage for books and paperwork, and a lot of zippered pockets (so things don’t fall out). Now that I have it, I really noticed the chrome hardware. The briefcase strap D-rings aren’t just circular metal rings, they are squarish in design (see photo). The zipper tabs are tapered thick metal (see photo). All the visible stitching looks good and tight. The handles are leather on the outer side and a heavy cotton weave on the inside, which adds strength to the briefcase. The shoulder strap has a heavy metal (matching the other hardware) scissor type hook to connect to the briefcase, vice the cheaper snap hooks (see picture). BTW, I received the “updated version” and I’m glad to see the manufacturer listened to their customers and upgraded the briefcase with their recommendations. All the upgrades seem like winners to me.I’m no stranger to Polare products, having previously purchased their larger version of this briefcase, a shoulder bag and a couple wallets—and this product doesn’t disappoint. The black version is equally suited for everyday business carry, casual, travel or all points in between. It’s light enough and of a reasonable size, but still has plenty of pockets and zippered compartments for everything from business cards, pens, pencils, Passport, credit cards, power cords, adapters, mouse, tablet, papers, or whatever you’re likely to carry. The leather itself is soft and looks of good quality, with that unmistakable new-leather smell. I will say that this updated version of the bag, which includes YKK zippers, higher-quality lining and stronger attachments for the shoulder strap are welcome and make a good bag even better. Finally, a clever and useful feature is the zippered compartment on the large leather slot that fits over the handles of pull-type, wheeled luggage, which is a thoughtful touch.If I had to make a suggestion though, I’d say to add four protective feet at the bottom of the bag to add protection. But that’s a minor issue with a bag that’s very functional—and an excellent value. And one more thing: Customer Service is very responsive and easy to work with. I had a minor issue with a previous purchase and their solution was more than fair. The one-year guarantee and offer of a complimentary wallet included with the warranty card, make this an excellent purchase that should hold up well over time.Gift for Husband who loves it. It is real leather, made in Italy, well made, tons of pockets, seems durable but time will tell. He carries a tablet and Laptop in this case plus files, and lots of other stuff. Got Black. If you are like myself a working professional that has to travel aka the traveling salesman then I would say this is exactly what you are looking for in terms of a bag. I recently was one of those types that would carry a backpack but came across my boss who was lets just say definitely not happy with me because I had to go to a meeting right after because it did not look too professional having to grab items out of backpack. although nice its not best suited. So I have literally gone out and purchased multiple bags from herschel, samsonite, leather crafts and more and have a whole suitecase full of them.This is literally my favorite bag to date. I have purchased one back not too long ago but have since purchased two more for co-workers who I know will appreciate it. It is very nice quality and more than big enough to carry your clothes in one side and work stuff in the other if you are like me and go on two day trips and dont want to bring a carry-on or check-in luggage. Even for everyday use its light enough to compared to other leather bags which are so heavy it drags on your shoulders or wrinkles the top shoulder part of your suit. This one wont do it trust me.There is a lot I can say about this company and bag but in the end there are very little downsides in purchasing one. Its at a great price point in terms of quality and I love the attention to detail and the service they provide.Definitely always looking forward to their new stuff and hope this review helped.I use this product for my laptop and I-Pad that I transport between my office and home. It is the ideal size. I really like like the extra storage pockets. The travel strap is really a great feature.The Zippers seem much sturdier than cases that I have had in the past.As the old adage states "It is just what the doctor ordered."Will really enjoy this birthday gift!Bought this for my boyfriend as part of a gift. He loved the colour of the leather, a nice rich brown shade. The bag is spacious, organization is good. Not sure how the bag will hold up yet over time b/c I just bought it couple days ago... also, since men can be rugged with their items at times. Overall, I am happy with the purchase. Compared to a Fossil bag, this alternative by Polare was cheaper, and I liked the design better than Fossil.Everything written about this bag is accurate. I am more than happy with the quality, the compartments and storage for all my business folders, lap top and presentation tools.The only suggestion I would like to offer is that the bottom be slightly wider or perhaps an accordion type base so that it stands up more securely.That being suggested, I am very happy with this product and would recommend to anyone looking for an excellent Laptop Case.This bag has a nice soft nappa leather. Nice black colour. It has enough space for my laptop and accessories. My laptop is a Lenovo X1 Carbon and I debated getting a smaller bag but with this bag I can fit everything I need to bring with me. Can even be used as a weekender bag. The design is simple but for future I hope they release one with minimal zipper at the front for a cleaner look. Until then this bag is a great value with genuine leather and craftsmanship.I purchased this item as a Christmas present for my husband. After searching all over online for the perfect school bag I found this one. It has not disappointed! It’s lovely, spacious and such good quality!He’s a student on his way to becoming a professor and needed something durable for all his school books, laptop and papers.
