If you need an option to work from another location AND have multiple screens, THIS is it. It's not cheap but an investment. The picture quality is good and it's super easy to install.I do live television production, and often work on graphics and editing. I have several monitors mirrored on my home setup. Found a collleuge with one of these in the field and figured I give it a go. Purchased at the same time as a new 2022 MacBook Pro M1. Connectivity was not an issue. Instantly hooked up and played out. Screen quality if okay. Not the best or worst. The unit itself isn't too heavy, but paired with the laptop it does add gerth and weight. Overall it's a keeper, and very useful to me. There are a few small things I would change. The monitor magnetically connects, swivels and bends which is great. Each time you take it off and on it's kind of a dance to get it on right. But then it's fine for the duration. The mini HDMI is of good quality. Braided and high speed. It would be better if it was coiled IMO. Everyone's setup is different, but this was very long (3') when I only needed like 18". So there's a lot of lose cable. Wound up ordering a new coiled one. Lastly,I really like the case it came with, and I am using it for my laptop. However it's smells so bad. Like old tires. I'm sure it will fade. Overall 4.5/5 and would recommend.I only knocked off a star because you can't get the screen as bright as your main screen. The only watch out is that of course it makes your laptop top heavy so if you tilt the main screen all the way up and have this open it will pull the whole computer backward. Works well.So far, I am very pleased with this monitor. It was easy to install, and the magnetic attachment has minimal impact on the back of my laptop (Surface Laptop 4 13.5"). Functions as well as I was hoping it would.If you're worried that this monitor will be washed out or have a limited viewing angle, don't be. This is a high-quality panel, and that is reflected in the price.Pros: - Easy Installation - Plug and Play (screen came up immediately) - Great picture quality (seems as sharp as the main laptop screen) - Magnetic attachment is very handy, built-in stand also works wellCons: - A bit pricey (my employer is paying, but still)It’s a great screen to have if you’re used to working on two screens. I love how portable it is and the picture quality is pretty good. Definitely an early concept idea, I can see them adding screen mirroring in the future for a wireless experience. So my advice is wait for the next model.3 days after opening the box the cable stopped working. Its convenient the screen can magnetize to the back of the laptop, but for the price and the hassle with the cords already I'm a little skeptical it will be worth it. We'll see.Perfect as second screen for work and easy to install.
