This is week three with the stand and I'm still finding it to be a great purchase, but in reading the reviews I think there's an issue with expectations. First, the basics: I'm relatively small at 5'2" (a much larger person might not have the same experience), work from home, and use a 15.6" laptop. I was looking for something versatile that I could use on my desk so that I could stand and not always be sitting, use from bed if I'm feeling lazy, and use to watch videos on my couch but at a distance so that my screen was not so close to my face as I like to avoid eye strain.. This desk accommodates all of my needs. There are a few things to expect: It's not the highest quality in terms of finish, has a relatively small mouse pad, and if you don't like ikea furniture you might find it difficult to maneuver. The trade off is, of course, the lower price point. If you're OK with this, buy it because it's great. Personally, I still think it looks good and there is a bit of a wobble but it's secure. The versatility is well worth it and I feel much better physically and more productive. Also, be sure to play with stability and configs on a safe surface, and remember, everything rotates 360 degrees so if you don't like something, there's probably a fix. I like it so much I bought another as a gift :)
