Well, the spring from the cooler doesn't really be able to hold the thermoelectric cooling pad close enough to the back of the laptop.I ordered Gelid Solutions GP-Extreme 12W Thermal Pad 80x40x2.5 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09MV8N245 with it, and then it works the magic.The surface temperature from the cooling pad is around 15.8C.The internal CPU temperature can be kept around 40C.I work from home, and there is no problem using this cooling pad for the whole day, and still keep my MacBook Pro cool!NOTE: Make sure you have a good USB-C power cable connected with enough amp, otherwise, the thermoelectric won't work as expected.SUGGESTION: No need for the two blue lighted cooling fans, just replace that with better/larger powered thermoelectric cooling chip.Easy to install and ready to use on my HP 14inch laptop, it is great that uses a type-C input. As the micro-USB or USB outputs tend to break over time (my last griffin laptop stand). The semiconductor cooling and the two fans are quiet and keep the laptop cool at all times within high temperatures of 80F and in humid conditions (Hawaii), overall it has been stopping my laptop from crashing. I was afraid of breaking the semiconductor/fans when I left them on all night, instead, the semiconductor cooling and fans kept going with ease. The angle position setting has improved my body, neck, wrist, and hands posture. As a result, less pain and tightness, especially in my neck, hands, and wrists!This laptop cooling pad is amazing! I don't write many reviews, but when I purchase an excellent product and it exceeds my expectations - I just had to write a review for this! It is made of nice aluminum, which adds to the efficient heat dissipation of the unit as a whole. It also gets super cold and cools the bottom of the laptop (where the laptop heat sinks reside) and really does keep the laptop cool! Others will advertise about cooling a laptop, but they only use ambient air (which could already be warm in your home). Not this - It has a Peltier cooler inside. This should be promoted more to its excellent design!I mainly use it for the stand positions, which make my laptop more comfortable and better for my back in terms of posture. The fan is very silent, and you can feel the cool breeze at the sides of the laptop. Because my laptop is old and I use it for long hours, the fan helps keep it cool, specially since I have had to replace the battery of my laptop before due to overheating. Very glad with items sturdiness yet flexability.This item is sturdy, well made and quiet. The fan runs smooth and it has a nice blue light. It comes with a charging cord and two rubber stopper bits that are used for I think propping the laptop up a bit off the metal or for holding a tablet. I tried it with my tablet and two laptops so far and it's great. It feels very well made but lightweight. Definitely a great item.This is my second laptop cooling pad that I have purchased. The other one is a little noisier, and is constructed of less minimalist plastic, but outputs more air. Mine also does not sit sturdily on the lowest (and most preferred) angle available, it slips out of place. Design flaw/oversight with the structure there.Keeps it cool quietly for everyday use but get something else if you are going to be doing gaming.I would love this a lot more if the fans were a level more powerful.This cooler is solid! Within minutes of turning on, condensation started forming on the cooling plate! It cools just like it says. See pic. And with 2 years of warranty and aluminum alloy frame, it’s sturdy and made to last. My notebooks and tablets run so cool now. Someone thought this out well. Simple, adjustable, folds flat for quick transport in bag, and affordable value. No brainier purchase. Amazing how they can get this kind of cooling, yet have fans be so quiet.NOTE: must have a metal bottom laptop to experience the full cooling effect of this nice designed stand/cooling pad.Dont rely on the fans, its the cooling pad that is doing the trick.Unless you have an macbook, xps, and any laptop that has a metal body, this isn't for you.This is such a good deal, get it before they raise the price!!
